I am a professional industrial designer with a master degree in integrated product design at the TU Delft. I am currently employed as an engineer and in my free time I make my own lamps.
Ever since I was a child I had a passion for technology and for how things work. I was determined to be an inventor. After high school I was eager to start my academic education in industrial design. In my second year I did an internship at Continental AG in Roding, Germany. This location is a fuel injection pump developer and manufacturer. I got a taste of how it is to work in such a technical field for a world leading company. In my third year I did my minor at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Here I explored some of my interests in computer science, aerospace engineering and medical engineering.
In my fourth year (first year of my master degree), I explored my interest in different cultures by becoming a mentor for international master students. I love connecting with people from different parts of the world to experience more than what my surroundings have to offer.
